Rovers make club shop their latest summer signing

- sparking an unmissable summer sale!

Rovers fans are in for a double treat with news the club have taken over control of the Rovers Store. Club bosses have recently reached an agreement to put themselves in the hot seat after taking over from Sports World who have managed retail operations since 2004.

The deal means fans can look forward to an exciting new range of products including scarves, mugs, badges and mini kits emblazoned with the Rovers badge as well as plans for a children's range and much more. But before the new stock arrives the old stock has to go meaning there are huge savings to be had at Ewood in a massive clear out.

Simon Williams, Head of Commercial and Marketing, commented: "We are delighted to have control of the Club Shop again. We are planning to gradually introduce a range of products to the Rovers Store which we believe will serve the demands of our fans. A redesign and rebrand is underway and we are looking to re-launch the shop in July. We are asking fans to be patient as we introduce new stock following the launch and put systems in place.”

“ Firstly though, we need to clear as much stock as possible so it's the perfect opportunity for all Rovers fans to find some fantastic bargains, including last season's kit and training wear."

Away shorts and socks from last season are being sold for just £1 and training sweatshirts as worn by the first team at their Brockhall base are on sale for just £5 each. As well as club kit there is a range of footwear including Umbro, Reebok and Nike trainers and football boots for as little as £20.

Sports World International will continue to provide Blackburn Rovers Kit manufactured by Umbro International but this will be the extent of their future involvement. Rovers also intend to revamp the product range on offer through their online shop which will be offline for purchases whilst the changes are underway.

Shop opening times for weekend 24/25/26 May:
Saturday: 9.00am - 5.00pm
Sunday: 12.00pm - 3.00pm
Bank Holiday Monday: 11.00pm - 3.00pm
